repotting morning

Finally got around to re-potting a couple of recent acquisitions this morning.

First up is a Peperomia plant that I picked up a couple of weeks ago at the Timberwinds nursery here in west St. Louis county. Variety 'Piccolo Banda'. Information here and here

plants as of Sept 1 2021

took some pictures of my plants-in-pots garden, and took some measurements as well

I don't know the names of many of the plants I have other than the generic name i.e. "ponytail palm" ... will try to find names and fill in the gaps as I go

two new additions from Steve's Leaves along with some interesting information

first up is an angel-wing begonia "Don Miller"; 11" tall this morning

"Begonia 'Don Miller' is a shrub type begonia and is a cross between the cane hybrid ‘Torch’ and the unidentified shrub species U062. This beautiful hybrid is easy to grow and branches readily to make a very full specimen. It thrives in the heat and has medium sized clusters of pink flowers in the spring, summer and fall. The flowers are usually pink but when it gets direct sun they can be rosy red. 'Don Miller' is sometimes erroneously labeled and sold as B. "Frosty"."

also from Steve's Leaves -- Hatiora cylindrica; 5 1/2" tall x 9" wide

"Hatiora cylindrica (syn. Hatiora salicornioides f. cylindrica) was received from the private collection of Burle Marx. This is an epiphytic cactus in the rhipsalideae tribe that is native to tropical Brazil. Its delicate green stems branch profusely and produce small yellow flowers from the tips. It is closely related to Hatiora salicornioides, and at one point was classified as a variety of the species."
